Since the landmark publication of Promising approaches in 2015, we have seen the issue of loneliness rise to the top of the political agenda. We’ve seen government strategies in England and Scotland, with strategies expected imminently in Wales and later in Northern Ireland.
It is now the right time to revisit the Promising Approaches model to consider whether it needs to evolve and what further evidence is available.
We are looking for a writer with a strong grasp of policy to review the existing model, synthesise updated evidence and data around impacts, and conduct case study interviews, in order to write an update to Promising approaches to loneliness in later life.
The contract is worth £15-20k and we anticipate that it is approximately 35 days work with key milestones to meet along the way. The work will be guided by a steering committee.

We are looking for a completed publication by summer 2020.
The deadline is 10 December for tender responses.
Questions on the tender should be sent to Anne Callaghan at anne@campaigntoendloneliness.org.uk by 4 December.
