Connect + Act gave an overview of how loneliness impacts public health, and the progress already made to influence policy at a local and national level. Attendees shared their own knowledge and expertise in our open debates and open space presentation sessions, and learnt from others.
We were delighted that Minister for Care Services, Norman Lamb MP, Lorraine Jackson from the Department of Health, Gregor Henderson from Public Health England and Mithran Samuels, from Community Care magazine, were able to speak and debate at the event.
